![]() ![]() That means a decent graphics card (or two, depending on what your ultimate goal is), a quality processor, and as much RAM as you can get away with. Personally speaking, if you really want to get the most out of your gaming experience, then a computer upgrade is most definitely in order, especially if you intend on using a lot of CC. (The slower a drive spins, the longer it takes the comp to access the data on the drive, this goes for internal and external drives.) Also, external drives tend to spin more slowly (unless you sink in good money for a higher speed drive) which also means more load time. If you have a higher grade USB port and a higher grade USB plug on the external drive, then it might not be so bad, but there will still be increased lag because of the time it would take your comp to read the external and basically 'push it through' to the rest of the comp. ![]() Yes, this includes putting it on an external drive, but I will warn you outright: Storing any of the files for the game (CC, Mods, Game files, etc) on an external drive WILL increase your lag time. That way you can actually store your CC/Mods/Whatever in a completely different folder or drive and the game will still read it as being in the My documents folder where it's 'supposed to be'. ![]() It's called making a junction/symlink(symbolic link). There is a way around having to keep your CC in the My Documents folder. ![]()
